Japanese conglomerate Setouchi Holdings has acquired Quest Aircraft, maker of the Kodiak single-engine turboprop.
The acquisition aims to significantly increase Quest Aircraft's production and manufacturing capacity, with the goal of becoming a leading manufacturer of single-engine turboprops globally.
Quest Aircraft will retain its management team and continue building airplanes in Sandpoint, Idaho, with Setouchi Holdings providing the necessary investment.
