In a ceremony at its Bordeaux production plant attended by hundreds of customers, suppliers and employees, French business jet maker Dassault rolled out the first Falcon 5X, the latest in its family of fly-by-wire luxury airplanes.
Announced at the NBAA Convention in 2013, the Falcon 5X twinjet features a digital flight control system derived from the Rafale fighter jet and new Snecma Silvercrest engines. It joins the Falcon 7X, 8X, 900 and 2000 in the Dassault product lineup.
