U.S. Air Force and Navy aircraft will conduct a joint flyover during Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California, next month to mark the country’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

According to the Air Force’s public affairs office, the formation on February 8 will feature two Air Force B-1s from Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota; two F-15Cs from Fresno Air National Guard Base, California; and two Navy F/A-18E Super Hornets and two F-35Cs, both from Naval Air Station Lemoore, California.

While the aircraft are from the Air Force and Navy, the flyover is meant to symbolize the entire joint force, including the Army, Marine Corps, Space Force, and Coast Guard, military officials said.

In 2025, the Marine Corps carried out the pregame flyover at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Also at this year’s game, a joint armed forces color guard from the Military District of Washington will render military honors during the national anthem. The team includes members of the Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force.

Super Bowl LX will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, the home venue for the San Francisco 49ers.
