University of North Dakota

Located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the University of North Dakota offers an array of programs throughout the aviation industry. University of North Dakota Aerospace program is one of only 34 aviation accredited programs in the world.

Program Highlights

UND has the largest fleet of collegiate aircraft in the country, and the airfield at Grand Forks International (KGFK) is only a 10-minute drive from the main campus.

This program could be the right ticket for students looking for a fast-paced, established program with a fleet to accommodate a large number of students.

Value

The program runs about average in terms of price for a public university. A student can expect to pay between $9,000 and $15,000 a year before flight costs if they’re an in-state resident. Due to the large number of flight instructors—220—and aircraft—110—there is no delay in flight training.
