Rocky Mountain College

Located in Billings, Montana, Rocky Mountain College offers two bachelor’s degrees programs and three minors that can be paired with an aviation or non-aviation degree plan. Flight training is maining done in Piper and Beechcraft aircraft owned by the college. Rocky Mountain College’s flight training is conducted at nearby Billings Logan International Airport (KBIL), less than two miles from campus. The mission of the school’s aviation program is to educate and train individuals to be professionals and leaders in the aviation industry.

Base tuition at Rocky Mountain College starts at $40,000 a year. Flight costs, from 0 hours to multiengine, will cost a student just north of $60,000.

The school does offer scholarships, including:

Fleet and Facilities

All of Rocky Mountain College’s aircraft are completely owned by the college, and all the employees at Flight Operations work for the college.

Rocky Mountain also hosts a state-of-the-art Canadair Regional Jet flight management system simulation.

Campus Life

Rocky Mountain College is a small college with big student engagement. The school offers an array of clubs, including:
