Flight students will also benefit from pretty average flight expenses; a flight student can expect to pay about $80,000 to finish the entire flight curriculum.

The college offers many aviation scholarships for students to reduce costs even more, including:

● The Ford Family Foundation Scholarship
● OSAC Scholarships
● LCC Foundation Scholarships

The school also accepts veteran’s benefits such as the GI Bill.

Fleet and Facilities

Lane Community College students will learn to fly in a fleet of mostly Piper aircraft, including:

● Piper Arrows
● Piper Seminoles
● Piper Warriors
● Cessna 152s

Graduates will be eligible for a R-ATP.

Campus Life

The college offers some traditional college experiences such as student clubs and organizations. Students interested in joining a club have dozens of options, including:

● Anime and Manga Club

● Table Tennis Club

Athletics are available on campus for competitive students. The Lane Titans have eight sports teams for both men and women. Students who are less competitive but still like to stay active can swing by the school’s fitness center.

The Bottom Line
