King Schools was in the midst of transitioning many of its popular flight training courses to HD video a couple of years ago when it had the opportunity to partner with Garmin to fill an important niche. The avionics company had introduced its own GTN 650/750 course, “GTN Essentials,” and it wanted to reach a broader audience. King Schools had seen a lot of success with its G1000 and GNS 430/530 courses, and it wanted to continue offering training in that vein.
