Wheels Up launched its first annual breast cancer awareness initiative with the introduction of its "Pink Plane," a specially-painted Beechcraft King Air 350i.
The initiative aims to raise over $1 million for the Dubin Breast Center at The Mount Sinai Hospital.
Funds will be generated through a $500 donation for each new member joining in October and a "fly-a-thon" encouraging current members to pledge donations based on flight hours or make one-time contributions.
Last week, Textron Aviation handed over the keys of the 45th aircraft in the Wheels Up fleet — the first-ever pink Beechcraft King Air 350i.
