Founded in 1989, SimCom established its business on a core philosophy of providing "value, personal, and friendly" flight training to compete with larger providers.
The company initially specialized in offering personalized training for owner-flown aircraft types not typically covered by competitors, starting with non-motion simulators.
SimCom successfully expanded its services over time, moving from non-motion platforms to developing and utilizing full-motion Level C and D simulators for a wide range of jets and large turboprops, even manufacturing its own simulators.
Despite significant growth and expansion into new aircraft programs and facilities, SimCom continues to prioritize highly skilled, understanding instructors and a tailored, friendly learning environment at a competitive price point.
I recently got the chance to spend a couple of weeks doing some training at SimCom‘s Lee Vista training center (one of two such SimCom facilities in Orlando alone), and I had a great time.
