Lancair has introduced an "all-inclusive" kit pricing format for its Legacy two-place aircraft, aimed at simplifying budgeting, improving time management, and increasing finished builds.
These comprehensive kits include the complete airframe, engine, and a dual-screen Garmin G3X avionics system with autopilot, navigator, navcoms, and other integrated features.
Three versions of the Legacy are offered—the RG-550, FGC-550, and FG-390—with prices ranging from $202,795 to $249,975, all of which include Lancair's two-week builder-assist program.
Lancair announced a new kit pricing format for the Legacy two-place single, choosing an “all inclusive” model that includes everything needed to build one.
The revised pricing is intended to take the guesswork out of budgeting and allow builders to better manage their time. The hope is that more kits become finished airplanes.
