Lancair has introduced an "all-inclusive" kit pricing format for its Legacy two-place aircraft, aiming to simplify budgeting and increase kit completion rates.
These comprehensive kits include the complete airframe, engine, a dual-screen Garmin G3X avionics system, and a two-week builder-assist program.
Three versions are offered—the RG-550, FGC-550, and FG-390—with prices ranging from $202,795 to $249,975, while individual sub-assembly kits remain available for customization.

The revised pricing is intended to take the guesswork out of budgeting and allow builders to better manage their time. The hope is that more kits become finished airplanes.
