Icon Aircraft unveiled its first production-conforming A5 aircraft (ESN-1) at Oshkosh, which had its maiden flight on July 7.
The production-ready A5 features aesthetic and functional improvements, including integrated wingtip handholds, LED lighting, and a refined interior designed with input from Lotus Engineering USA.
Full production of the Icon A5 is scheduled to commence next year at the company's new factory in Vacaville, California.

Icon founder Kirk Hawkins unveiled the red and white LSA, dubbed ESN-1 for engineering serial number 1, at the show on Sunday night. The slick two-seater was built at Icon’s headquarters in California over the past five months and flew for the first time on July 7.
