Textron Aviation launched the Top Hawk program, partnering with four universities (Embry-Riddle, Kansas State, Liberty, and the University of North Dakota).
The program provides each university with a new Cessna Skyhawk for flight training, outreach, and recruiting to encourage young people into aviation careers.
It also includes a Textron summer internship and a flying competition for one nominated student from each school, where one will be crowned "Top Hawk."
At Sun ‘n Fun Textron Aviation and an impressive list of university partners launched the Top Hawk program to pair up universities with quality flight training programs with new Skyhawks.
Under Top Hawk, Textron will team with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Kansas State University, Liberty University and the University of North Dakota.
