The HondaJet Elite II has received FAA certification for its Emergency Autoland (EAL) system.
This makes it the first production model twin-turbine very light business jet to be certified with Emergency Autoland.
Emergency Autoland enables the aircraft to land autonomously in emergency situations, activated either by a button or automatically if the pilot becomes unresponsive.
Honda Aircraft is currently pursuing international certifications to make the EAL system available to global customers.
