Gulfstream's new super-midsize G300 business jet completed its first successful flight, initiating its flight testing program.
The G300 is positioned as a "game changer" in its category, designed to exceed customer expectations and replace the G280, emphasizing safety, technology, performance, and cabin comfort.
It offers a range of 3,600 nm, seating for up to 10 passengers across two living areas, and features like a low cabin altitude, 100% fresh air, and a plasma air ionization system.
The first G300 took off from Ben Gurion International Airport (LLBG) in Israel and flew for 2 hours and 25 minutes at a speed of Mach 0.75 and an altitude of 30,000 feet, the company said. The type will now begin flight testing.
