A 24-year-old manager at Start Skydiving, Sarah Rhoads, was fatally injured after accidentally walking into the spinning propeller of a Twin Otter aircraft.
The incident occurred on the ramp at Middletown Regional Airport in Ohio, resulting in severe head injuries.
While Rhoads was trained for ramp safety, the Twin Otter was a new addition to the company's fleet.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be investigating the accident.
