General Electric (GE) CEO Larry Culp, Jr. has taken on the additional role of CEO of GE Aviation, replacing John Slattery, while maintaining his position as GE's Chairman and CEO.

Accompanying Culp's appointment, Russell Stokes was named President and CEO of commercial engines and services, and Rahul Ghai will join as GE Aviation's CFO.
