Medical Exams Offered at Sebring U.S. Sport Aviation Expo

Visitors to the Florida sport aircraft event can leave with a second or third class medical certificate.

The upcoming Sebring U.S. Sport Aviation Expo will offer more than just the latest in sport aircraft and exhibitors. Pilots visiting the annual Florida event early next year will have the opportunity to check off their medical exams on site and leave with a second or third class medical certificate.

A senior aviation medical examiner will be on hand at the 13th annual Sport Aviation Expo to perform medical exams, after which pilots can fill out the online FAA forms and receive a printed medical certificate.

Pilots can reserve and pay online in advance for the exams, which are expected to take about 15–20 minutes, depending on the class.

The expo, which will feature more than 150 aircraft, including light sport, ultralight, kit, amphibian and drones, and relevant speakers and workshops, will be held January 25–28 at Sebring Regional Airport in Florida.
