Graham will fill remainder of retiring member’s term.

Michael Graham, Textron Aviation’s director of flight operations safety, security and standardization, was last week nominated to fill the remainder of the five-year term of retiring member Earl Weener that expires December 21, 2020. Graham, a long-time member of the NBAA’s safety committee where he chairs the single-pilot working group, also serves as the chairman of the Air Charter Safety Foundation. He’s also a member of the General Aviation Information Analysis Team of the Aviation Safety Information Analysis & Sharing (ASIAS) program.

Graham began his aviation career with the gold wings of a Naval aviator flying A-7s and F/A-18s. He later worked for Boeing/McDonnell Douglas as an F/A-18 aircrew instructor and avionics integration engineer, as well as a Cessna demonstration and production flight test pilot. He holds an airline transport pilot certificate with 10,000 flight hours, as well as type ratings in six different Citation models. Graham earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico.
