At 1225 Mountain time, the airplane was substantially damaged during a runway overrun. Visual conditions prevailed. The captain, first officer and five passengers were not injured. The Mexican-registered flight was taking off at the time of the accident, with a planned destination of Chihuahua, Mexico.

June 10, 2007, Santa Barbara, Calif., Dassault-Breguet Mystere Falcon 900

At approximately 1412 Pacific time, the airplane was substantially damaged when it overran the departure end of Runway 25 on the takeoff roll. The two Airline Transport pilots and 13 passengers were not injured. Visual conditions prevailed. The captain subsequently reported the airplane accelerated normally but, upon reaching VR. the nose wouldnt come up. The yoke was pulled back until it was in the pilots chest, the nose wouldnt come off the ground. The captain then rejected the takeoff but was unable to stop the airplane on the remaining available runway.

At 1830 Eastern time, the business jet received substantial damage when the left engine cowl separated and impacted the horizontal stabilizer during cruise at flight level 250 near Stilesville, Ind. Visual conditions prevailed; the pilot and copilot were uninjured. The flight originated from Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport (SPI), Springfield, Ill., at 1700 Central time and was en route to Dayton, Ohio. At 1850 central time, a Dassault Falcon lost power on approach to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and was ditched into the Mississippi River. The two pilots suffered serious injuries. The airplane had departed Del Rio, Texas, about 2:20 before the accident on a Part 135 cargo flight. The airplane flew the ILS Rwy 30R approach, but missed. As the airplane was being vectored for a second approach, the pilots asked several times how far from the airport they would be going. When on base leg, the crew stated it had a fuel limitation and declared an emergency when switched to the tower frequency. At about 18:02 EST, a Dassault DA-900 overran the runway at Barnstable Municipal airport The four occupants were uninjured but two occupants of motor vehicles on a public road were slightly injured. The PIC said the crew briefed the VOR runway 6 approach prior to departing LGA. When they arrived at HYA they discovered the weather was below minimums for the VOR approach. Winds at the time were from 020 at 21, gusting to 34. The PIC requested the ILS Runway 24 approach and decided to land the airplane if the braking action was reported as fair and discontinue the approach if it was reported as poor.
