Embraer Phenom 300E Delivered through Porsche Partnership

The limited-edition series pairs the latest jet with the 911 Turbo S.

There are those of us aviators who can relate to the license-plate holder: “I’m Not Driving Fast—I’m Flying Low.” While the need for speed on the ground is more than adequately satisfied with Porsche’s 911 Turbo S—within certain driving jurisdictions—the need for speed in the air can arguably be met with the Embraer Phenom 300E.

Embraer announced on June 30 that it has collaborated with Porsche on the Duet, which pairs those two fast machines in a limited-edition package for a lucky streak of 10 owners. “We designed Duet in collaboration with Porsche to introduce a seamless travel experience for those wanting to arrive in something totally original, while holding true to our vision of delivering the ultimate experience in business aviation,” said Michael Amalfitano, president and CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. “The Phenom 300E is already the best-selling light jet in the world, and we continue to push the boundaries to provide even more value and bring new experiences to our customers.”

The Phenom 300E for Duet has been upgraded with bespoke interior design that echoes the seats from the 911—both in the cabin and on the flight deck. The exterior shows off a matching paint scheme for both car and jet, with an emblem and badge to signify their position in the series. And as a final touch, the Phenom’s registration number will be repeated on the underside of the 911′s “wing.”

The Eve eVTOL’s launch customer will be the UAM start-up, Halo. Embraer Executive Jets

Embraer has also made a series of updates regarding its Eve Urban Air Mobility program, including the addition of a maintenance partnership and key initial customers. Eve is Embraer’s foray into the world of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, with a crewed (“human-centered”), electric-powered VTOL aimed at producing zero emissions and a low noise footprint. The first flight of the Eve eVTOL within the engineering simulator took place in Brazil at the EmbraerX facility in June 2020, and full-scale aircraft flights are planned for later in 2021. Halo, an investment-fund-backed UAM start-up, is the launch customer for Eve, with 200 units on order with a delivery timeline projected to begin in 2026.
