Thanks to the success of Sporty’s 2014 RV-12 Sweepstakes, the popular pilot supplies provider has once again selected the Van’s LSA for its annual airplane giveaway.
One lucky winner will be awarded the two-seater on May 16, 2015, during Sporty’s annual fly-in. Individuals who make purchases at Sporty’s between May 9, 2014, and May 8, 2015, are automatically entered into the Sweepstakes each time they place an order with Sporty’s.
The Van’s RV-12 factory-built LSA was first announced in the fall of 2012 and since then has gained a loyal following thanks to its ability to carry two 210-pound occupants, 20 gallons of fuel and 50 pounds of baggage. Powered by the Rotax 912ULS, the RV-12 comes equipped with the Dynon Skyview system and the Garmin GTR 200 comm radio.
Sporty’s has been conducting its airplane giveaway for more than 20 years and has awarded a variety of different aircraft over that time, such as the Legend Cub, the Cessna Skycatcher and the Cessna Skyhawk.
