Organizers have released the jam-packed schedule for the upcoming Flying Aviation Expo, scheduled for this October 31-November 2 in Palm Springs, California, which is promising to offer something for every pilot.
The show, co-hosted by Flying magazine and Lift Event Management, will feature dozens of panel discussions and educational sessions along with exhibits inside the Palm Springs Convention Center.
“We look forward to working closely with the Aviation Expo team in the creation of what will be a world-class aviation gathering,” said Flying Editor-in-Chief Robert Goyer. “Our single-minded goal is to create an aviation event unlike any other in the world, one tailored for the active pilot, offering education, entertainment and interactive safety events all geared toward making life in the cockpit of a personal transportation airplane easier, safer and exponentially more rewarding.”
Seminars scheduled for the show include presentation on aircraft partnering, single-pilot IFR flying strategies, affordable avionics upgrades, upset training, iPads in the cockpit and more. Organizers expect as many as 10,000 visitors for the inaugural Flying Aviation Expo, the first event in the magazine’s 87-year history.
“We’re excited to be working with Flying for the 2014 Flying Aviation Expo,” said Marco Parrotto, president of Lift Event Management. “Together, we’re creating an aviation event that is considered a must-attend for all aviation enthusiasts.”

An all-inclusive three-day pass that includes access to the seminars, exhibit hall, Parade of Planes, Friday night kick-off party and Saturday night event costs $210. Early bird pricing is available until August 29.
