For the second year, Palm Springs, California, is welcoming back pilots and aviation enthusiasts to the annual Flying Aviation Expo presented by Scheyden, to be held this Oct. 15-17 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Registration is now open for the three-day aviation event at aviation-xpo.com.
Tickets for the show are available in a variety of options from single-day passes to an all-inclusive three-day package. Also, by registering early, attendees can take advantage of the discount prices that are offered for a limited time.
Same as last year, the Flying Aviation Expo will host a plethora of aircraft, aviation equipment, services, hands-on demonstrations, seminars, and kick off with a crowd favorite — the Parade of Planes. One of the highlights of the show this year is aviation technology. Pilots will be able to browse technology exhibits in addition to attend seminars by industry leaders.
John Zimmerman from Sporty’s will be sharing how to get more out of your iPad — including apps you’ve never heard of in his talk “10 Things Every iPad Pilot Must Know.” And for pilots who have not flown with iPads, Gary Reeves of PilotSafety.org will be instructing how to get started. The Expo will also feature technology that is changing the way we fly, including the Apple Watch.
