FBO Spotlight: Salem Aviation Fueling (KSLE)

Flying reader Ron Sterba shares the great experience he had with this Oregon FBO.

In our FBO Spotlight series, we’re highlighting FBOs around the country that have received rave reviews from our readers. This latest Spotlight is brought to you by Ron Sterba, who recently flew into McNary Field Airport in Salem, Oregon in a Cessna 172. Here’s what he had to say about the airport’s FBO, Salem Aviation Fueling:

“Wow, a real red carpet rolled out for my aircraft. They asked if I needed fuel and invited me in for coffee. Rolls and pastries awaited me inside a quiet room with La-Z Boy lounge chairs and a pilot store. [Salem Aviation] has really nice people with inflight catering service too! Love this place. They have a great layer with a computer available for all flight services.”
