FBO Spotlight: Cape Aviation (KCGI)

Flying reader Bryant Fisher explains why he'd go back to this Missouri FBO anytime.

In our FBO Spotlight series, we’re highlighting FBOs around the country that have received rave reviews from our readers. This latest Spotlight is brought to you by Bryant Fisher, who recently flew into KCGI in a Piper Malibu. Here’s what he has to say about the airport’s FBO, Cape Aviation.

Cape Aviation (KCGI)
Cape Girardeau, Missouri

“We started the day at KPYM, just south of Boston, in marginal wx making our way back to KDTO with two planned stops, KCKB and KCGI. Head winds made for a long day, but Cape was fantastic. We called ahead to check on the availability of a GPU (no charge with fuel) just in case, as the Malibu is tough to start when hot. The single attendant was “everywhere” providing good service with several customers at the same time, but making sure our needs were addressed. The FBO was clean and well-stocked with charts/maps and “snacks” to ease the munchies on the long flight. I’d go back any time.”
