“I am from Montana and was in Minnesota visiting my wife’s family over the holidays. I hadn’t flown in a couple months so I thought I would get a check-out in Alexandria Aviation’s Warrior. Everyone was so welcoming that I did not want to leave. The instructors, Newton and Don were awesome. Don Clobes took the time to show me the local EAA chapter’s workshop, some incredible hangars with fabulous toys to look at and he even took me up in his restored SuperCruiser just for the fun of it. Kenny and I discussed our love of motorcycles, which he races too, and even the gal at the desk made a fresh pot of coffee for me even though they were about to close! Great group of people. The owner Todd even made a point to come out and introduce himself. I could hang there my whole vacation, but luckily I have the best in-laws in the world. 🙂 … very understanding of my aviation itch. Alexandria Aviation didn’t know me from Adam but treated me like him anyway!
