Home / Photos / Bell 407 and the G1000H Photos Bell 407 and the G1000H By August 19, 2011 Garmin’s innovative G1000 comes to helicopters for the first time.While its primary mission has been to serve the corporate, police, EMS and offshore oil markets, the Bell 407 has found a niche with private owners as well. Pressure from European helicopter maker’s has forced Bell to up its interiors game, which it has done nicely in the back of the 407. The Bell 407GX continues a long legacy that stretches back to the original 206 JetRanger introduced in 1967.
