The Bendix/King KMD 550 multifunction display and the KLN 94 GPS, with its new color display, are part of the upgraded Nav II avionics option in the Skylanes.The leather seats in the new Skylane are nicely upgraded from the previous offering. The shoulder harness connected to the overhead is part of the crashworthy standards that the seats of all recently certified airplanes must meet.The new Turbo and naturally aspirated Skylanes are faster thanks to small, but important, drag reductions around the step used for checking fuel, the wingtips, the wheel fairings and the cowling.
