If your spring and summer travel plans lead you to either Lakeland, Florida for Sun ‘n Fun 2005 or Oshkosh, Wisconsin for AirVenture Oshkosh 2005, don’t forget to enter the 2005 “Kid-sperience: Aviation” Raffle, sponsored by Lancair and FLYING Magazine.
FLYING, with the generous sponsorship of Lancair, is raffling a complete Legacy FG Kit including a Superior XP-360 engine and two David Clark H10-13XL ENC headsets to benefit the kids’ programs of Challenge Air, The Florida Air Museum at SUN ‘n FUN and EAA’s Young Eagles Programs.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 on the opening day of Sun ‘n Fun 2005. If you’re not able to purchase tickets at Sun ‘n Fun, you’ll have another opportunity to do so at AirVenture Oshkosh, which opens on Monday, July 25, 2005; tickets will only be available at these two venues.
Ticket donations are $10 or eight tickets for $50. All proceeds will benefit the three worthy organizations mentioned above. Help these fine organizations bring the joy of aviation to children everywhere.
Winner will be selected at AirVenture Oshkosh on Sunday, July 31, 2005 and will be notified by mail, phone and e-mail.
Along with hosting the Kid-sperience: Aviation raffle, the FLYING Exhibit Tent at Sun ‘n Fun and EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is the place to meet your favorite FLYING editor. We’ll also enjoy guest appearances by Patty Wagstaff, Paul Bowen and Russ Munson. Don’t miss FLYING and Airside TV’s interviews with the newsmakers at both SUN ‘n FUN 2005 and AirVenture Oshkosh 2005, which will be conducted and previewed in our tent, but will then reside on www.flyingmag.com.
