Video: Daredevils Fly Through Hangar

Red Bull pilots complete crazy stunt flight.

Two exceptional pilots, participants in the Red Bull Air Race, have completed a stunt that you definitely would not want to try at home. Paul Bonhomme and Steve Jones, both from Great Britain, flew their Xtreme Air XA41 race planes through a hangar in North Wales.

“There is nothing that quite compares to that feeling when you are 200 yards from the hangar and you’ve got no options, you’re completely hemmed in and you just need to check you’re in line with the gap in the building and press on through it,” said Jones.

Bonhomme and Jones have fine-tuned their extreme flying skills for the past several years flying in the Red Bull Air Race, where contestants mix high speed and aerobatic maneuvers while flying through a tight course made of inflated pylons.

While Jones has retried from racing and now acts as one of the race directors, Bonhomme can be seen racing on July 4 and 5 in Budapest. Four additional races remain for the 2015 season, including Fort Worth, Texas, on Sept. 26 and 27, and Las Vegas on Oct. 17 and 18.
