Still Time to Comment on New FAA Written Knowledge Tests

The FAA is updating the test and wants your feedback.

John King, co-founder along with wife Martha King, of King Schools, has a message for pilots everywhere: Comment now on the FAA’s proposal for the new FAA Knowledge Test rules while you have the chance. The comment period ends July 8.

King says that many of the comments on the first go-around were not to the point. The old tests, which focused on arcane and outdated questions designed to deliver missed answers and not to test applicants’ aeronautical knowledge, are to be revised with questions that discuss real-world piloting skills and test aeronautical decision making instead of slide-rule calculation.

Check out the proposal here and then click the comment button and tell the FAA what you think. Our prediction: You will love these changes.
