Users of aviation’s most popular flight planning and support app now have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the software through a new training course from Sporty’s.
Sporty’s ForeFlight training program shows users how to use the app through step-by-step instructions that cover everything from how to download ForeFlight to how to keep your charts updated.
According to Sporty’s Vice President John Zimmerman, the new course is jargon-free, making it accessible for the everyday pilot. While the program is useful for new ForeFlight users, Zimmerman says the training course will also benefit veteran ForeFlight operators as it includes plenty of insider shortcuts and little-known tips.
The 60-minute course is available online as streaming video and can be viewed with Windows, Mac or iPad. It is also available as an iPad/iPhone app. Both versions of the course are priced at $29.99.
