LSA Expo Kicks Off

Show to feature new aircraft and educational events.

The eighth annual Light-Sport Aircraft Expo that kicks off today in Sebring, Florida, is expected to draw aviation enthusiasts from throughout the state and across the country.

A few highlights included amid the show’s displays are the new G500-equipped DA20 from Diamond as well as its HK36 Motor Glider and two Kitfox S7 Super Sport aircraft.

In addition to an array of educational forums, the expo is featuring a pilot town hall meeting led by AOPA President Craig Fuller, a LAMA dinner and a number of wine and food events. Flying will be there reporting on the events as they unfold.

The expo runs through Sunday and exhibits open at 9 a.m. For those traveling to the event from the north, be forewarned, as there’s a TFR over Orlando in anticipation of a presidential visit tomorrow.
