Get Your Tech on at Flying Aviation Expo

Seminars and exhibitors will help you make the most of the latest technology.

If you want to make the most out of your iPad or other portable tablet when you’re flying, there are many opportunities to learn about how to do so at the Flying Aviation Expo this weekend in sunny Palm Springs, California.

You may have missed iPad in the Cockpit 101 this afternoon, but you will have another chance to check out flight instructor Kay Sundaram’s seminar for those who are ready to introduce the iPad to the cockpit. Sundaram is also presenting the same seminar on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

On Saturday and Sunday at 1:15 a.m., MyGoFlight’s Charles Schnyder’s can help you maximize the use of your iPad in the cockpit with his seminar iPad Takes Flight! Schnyder will show you how to make flying less stressful by utilizing the iPad to its full aviation potential. He will also introduce scenarios from his EFB Challenge, which is designed to teach pilots iPad tricks as well as help them evaluate their own flying skills. And while you learn you can enter a competition for one of MyGoFlight’s popular flight bags, which are designed specifically to protect aviation gear — the iPad in particular.

If you are a ForeFlight user or would like to know more about this aviation software, ForeFlight’s Eric Hake will hold a presentation at 10:30 on Saturday morning that will help you make the most of your subscription.

You can also stop by ForeFlight’s display in the main exhibit hall for some one-on-one time with one of the company’s specialists. Other iPad aviation software producers are also present at the show, such as Hilton Software with its WingX Pro7 and Garmin with its Pilot software.
