Get a Behind the Scenes Look at Airshows with Air Boss

New aviation-related reality iTunes TV series features Wayne Boggs.

If you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of major airshows such as AirVenture, which just concluded on Sunday, here is your chance to find out. A reality TV miniseries called Air Boss just launched over the weekend on iTunes TV with great success. According to FourPoints Television, the company that produced Air Boss and the PBS show The Aviators, the first show reached the number one spot on the iTunes Reality TV charts on Saturday. Five additional shows will be released weekly starting on August 9.

Air Boss follows Wayne Boggs, an air boss that has been working in the field for more than 20 years, as he tackles the stresses of keeping performers in line and making critical decisions based on unexpected events, such as inclement weather.

Boggs, a retired U.S. Marine, has received the International Council of Air Shows Sword of Excellence award, given in recognition of leadership, service, innovation, vision, commitment and selfless contributions to the air show business.
