Daher Opens New U.S. Headquarters in Florida

Company cuts the ribbon on new facility.

Officials from Daher, maker of the TBM 900 single-engine turboprop, cut the ribbon on a new 32,000-square-foot U.S. headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida, at an event that attracted more than 300 attendees and 30 customer airplanes.

The new facility includes two hurricane-proof, temperature-controlled hangars, one of which is equipped with a three-ton overhead crane, that can accommodate eight TBM aircraft simultaneously.

“Our new Pompano Beach facility gives us the additional space we need, positions us to better serve customers for years to come and reinforces our enthusiasm for what this business can accomplish in America,” said Nicolas Chabbert, president of Socata North America and senior vice president of Daher’s airplane business unit. “Following the TBM program’s great success, the fleet is growing, with more than 500 TBMs in the U.S. today.”

Daher also launched a rebranding that drops the Socata name from the company.
