Beacon — the Netflix of the private air industry — today premiers its all-you-can-fly service between New York and Boston, the first unlimited flight subscription service in the Northeast.
“The route between Boston and New York is among the most traveled in the U.S.,” says Wade Eyerly, CEO and co-founder of Beacon, “yet there’s no way to get between the two cities in under two hours. Today, we are proud to be changing that and serving this unmet need for business travelers on the East Coast.”
Ideal for business travelers who frequently hop between the two cities, the service offers unlimited access to its nine round-trips a day in a mixed fleet of Pilatus PC-12 and King Air 350 turboprops between New York’s Westchester Airport and Boston Logan Airport for $2,000 a month. Members can reserve, change or cancel their reservations up to 20 minutes before each flight with no additional charges.
“Traveling between Boston and New York, two of the biggest East Coast cities, needs to get better,” said Neil Chheda of Romulus Capital. “It’s exciting to see this smart and necessary service take off for commuters.”
Eyerly is the former chief executive of Surf Air, a West Coast all-you-can-fly service that operates Pilatus PC-12s.
