What is ad-light and how does it change the way I read FlyingMag.com?  


Ad-Light browsing works just like it sounds: a largely ad-free viewing experience across all devices — desktop, tablet, and mobile. No banner advertisements, no pop-ups & no auto-play videos ads. The site loads faster and scrolls smoother. 


What happens if I don’t want to use ad-light? 


The standard FlyingMag.com will continue to operate as it does today and include advertisements to support your browsing activity. You will continue to have access to Flying's great storytelling and resources at no additional charge. 


I use an ad blocker when browsing the Web. Can I continue to do so on FlyingMag.com? 


Unfortunately, no. We understand that ads can be an inconvenience, but without them we wouldn’t be able to fund the journalism that fills the site. We give ad blocker users two options to continue accessing FlyingMag.com:


1. Whitelist FlyingMag.com in your ad blocker settings so our site may serve ads as you browse.

2. Purchase an Ad-Light subscription that makes sense for you. We offer bundled access for those that wish to read our magazine or standalone access for those that just wish to read our web content without the distraction of ads.

I’m already a subscriber to Flying's print edition. How do I get access to Ad-Light?


If you’re a current print subscriber to Flying Magazine and wish to set up Ad-Light access on the site, please send us an email at flyingsubs@bonniercorp.com including your Name, Account Number & Expiration Date.

What methods of payment are accepted?


Subscriptions may be purchased using a debit/credit card, PayPal or Apple Pay. 


Will my subscription auto-renew?


To ensure uninterrupted service, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term. In the event that renewal pricing changes you will be notified of the change at least 10 days in advance.


In locations where auto-renewal cannot be enabled by default, you may be asked to take additional steps to confirm your auto-renewal preferences.


Auto-renewal can be disabled at any time by visiting the Manage Account page.


How do Promo Codes work?


If you have a valid promotional code, please enter it in the “Enter promo code” field during checkout and select “Apply” to redeem.


Promo codes are not required to make a purchase. If you do not have a promo code, simply skip to the “Select a payment method” section during checkout to complete your purchase.


Can I purchase a gift bundle?

What should I do if I’m receiving an error message or can’t complete my purchase due to technical issues?

Account


How do I check my subscription status?


Subscribers can review their active subscriptions at any time by visiting the Manage Account page. If you are looking for information about an expired subscription, please select the “Expired” menu option.


Note: Existing print subscribers who have not created an account on FlyingMag.com should use flyingmag.com/cs instead.


How do I update my payment information?


1.  Visit the Manage Account page

2.  Click on “Cards”

3.  Select “Add Card”

4.  Enter payment information

5.  Click “Save Changes”


How do I update my mailing address?


To update the mailing address on file for your print subscription, please visit flyingmag.com/cs and select “Change My Address” from the menu.


How do I change my password?


To change your password, visit the Manage Account page, navigate to the Profile tab, and select “Change password”.


If you are not logged in and have forgotten your password, please select “Log In” from the top of any page and click on the “I forgot my password” link. An email will be sent to you with reset instructions.


How do I cancel my subscription?


You may cancel your subscription at any time by navigating to the Manage Account page and disabling Auto-Renewal. You will continue to have access to all of your subscription benefits until the Expiration Date listed on that page.


Fulfillment


How long will it take to get Ad-Light Access?


Ad-light access to FlyingMag.com should begin immediately upon the completion of your purchase. To browse FlyingMag.com with ad-light enabled on any device, simply log in using the “Log In/Profile” menu at the top of any page.


How long will it take to get my print issues of Flying Magazine*?


If your subscription includes the print version of Flying Magazine, please allow 4-6 weeks for your first issue to arrive. The number of issues in an annual term is subject to change at any time, but the amount of time remaining on your subscription will not be altered.

How long will it take to get my digital issues of Flying Magazine*?


If your subscription includes access to the digital version of Flying Magazine through our app, please allow up to 48 hours for activation.


Instructions:

  1. Download the application to your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Open the app and tap on the banner at the top.
  3. Enter your email address and create a password to complete setup. (Note: Your app password does not need to match the password used on the site.)
  • iOS Users: Download the app here or search the App Store for "Flying Magazine".
  • Android Users: Download the app here or search the Google Play Store for "Flying Magazine".

How long will it take to get access to FlyingTV videos*?


If your subscription includes access to FlyingTV, please allow up to 48 hours for activation.


Instructions:

  1. Visit FlyingTV.com.
  2. Select "Sign In".
  3. Enter your email address and temporary password (provided in a separate email once activation is complete). Users may update their password at any time by visiting their "Dashboard".
  4. Select "My Library" from the top menu and enjoy!
