Garmin Introduces G1000 Extended Service Contract

FliteLevel gives aircraft owners peace of mind.

Garmin is launching a new extended service program for the G1000 avionics system called FliteLevel that gives aircraft owners — and used airplane buyers — additional peace of mind that any needed avionics repairs won’t break the bank.

The FliteLevel service contract can be purchased at any time and provides complete coverage for the G1000 system for three years. All G1000 Line Replaceable Units (LRU’s) are covered under the program, including labor associated with a claim.

Garmin says FliteLevel is transferrable at the time of sale of an aircraft, providing extra value and assurance for the new owner. What’s more, customers who sign up for the program will receive priority shipping for all components.

Pricing for the FliteLevel Service Contract is based on aircraft type, the number of G1000 displays, and the number of options installed, such as the GWX weather radar or GFC 700 autopilot, Garmin says. The program is available through Garmin dealers.
