This would be a godsend for GA. I hope/wish it gets the same attention from the large "alphabet organizations" as the AOPA/EAA medical proposal has. It's far more important, in my opinion.
It's high time we restored the public's interest and fascination with flight. This would get us halfway there.
Am I the only one who sees the ADS-B requirement as being more than a little similar to the hotly disputed "individual mandate" in ObamaCare? Seriously, why does the FAA think they get to tell us how and when to spend our money?
Granted, I think it's a good thing and I'd put it in my airplane if I had one, but still.....

I do wonder what kind of forward visibility it has, both in flight, and on the ground! :-)
Amazing looking plane. And I particularly like the doors for the rear passengers. That's nice.
Mike, I'm curious, what did you do on the door issue to get certification? Is there a charge that blows the door off so you can get out if the plane ends up on its back?
Man! My dream plane is a Mooney 205, but after seeing this and taking into account how old I'll be before I can finally afford one (I'm 21 now), I might have to go with the Cirrus! The Mooney will just be too old!
