Obama simply likes to score some political points by using class warfare tactics. He panders to the left wing of his party. Never cared for his politics.

Perry, in reply to your question I think the best way to measure people's preference is to see how they spend their money. I hope I am not going to reveal some secrets but Cirrus sales representative for Northern California told me that overwhelming percentage of their aircraft leaves factory with G1000 avionics suite.

Tripling the correction angle on the outbound leg is a very good rule of thumb. Others (e.g. Machado) teach to double it. If you look closer what G1000 does it in those instances - it seems to use some number between 2 and 3.
Piper's Jet Review: What does it mean?

I can't help thinking how much effort and funds were lost to date among various aircraft GA manufacturers on persuing this vision of VLJ. Even those projects that are still going full ahead are still years away from certification and delivery to a customer. And most of these companies were never perfectly financially healthy to begin with yet instead of straightening their existing product base they threw the money into this rathole called VLJ. I really think that management responsible for those decisions should be held accountable. I take a very dim vew of this whole VLJ mania - in my opinion it has potential of destabilizing GA industry.
FAA Urgent Warning on Falling Satellite a Success?

Robert,
I slightly disagree with your characterization that NASA predicted the re-entry zone to cover the whole Earth. Perhaps this was the case days before the re-entry but I was following NASA's updates and hours before the reentry they were able to exclude certain continents, and then issued the final update that the reentry was going to happen in the next hour so given satellite's track it was obvious that reentry would occur over Pacific or PNW/Northern Canada. I think their updates were quite reasonable in terms of what they could say and how far in advance they were predicting.
