This article really hits close to home. I was educated as a classical musician, receiving a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music. I played professionally with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for six years, all the while, having the desire to take flying lessons in the back of my head. I finally pursued my dreams and ended up flying at a major cargo airline for the past 26 years, the past 14 as a Captain on a wide-body jet.
