what is a fair price for private license?

Hi rayan rvmeder is pretty close. Abt $95 for A/C, $30 for instructor, all times 50 to 60 hrs. $7000 approx . Here in Calif. dd

Hi JPN You're so lucky to be learning to fly in Denver. I learned in Colorado Springs and I'm a much better pilot because of it. If you can fly there, you can fly better anywhere. The high altitudes, high temp, turbulence, and much faster landing speeds make you a much more competent pilot. good luck dd

Somewhere I read that if you know you will fail the med exam it doesn't mean you can avoid taking an exam then apply for Sport pilot cert. Dont ask me how they know you knew. lol Best is to talk to a med examiner. Eyes have to be 20 20 correctable for pilots ...you need to fly with a spare set of glasses tho. DMV eye test is 20 40 correctable, so the eye charts at DMV are 20 40 charts. dd

You can instruct, like for BFR's but the pilot you're checking has to qualify as PIC. dd
