Questions From the FAA's Airman Knowledge Test: IFR
All Comments
Nice quiz. How can I try the VFR quiz?
I've read a lot in the FAR/AIM & taken many AOPA & other quizes but never saw any questions about instrument substitutions. I missed all of those questions. I'm sure they must be in the FAR/AIM.

I liked the quizes, they're different than others i've seen & much tougher.
I can't help noticing that the Quiz has not changed for over a year. Would'nt it be nice to change them monthly?
I agree with doug Dailey that this quiz has not been changed for quite a while, I'd say about two years. C'mon FLYING, you can do better.
Maybe we should all find the ph # for FLYING and pester them by phone until they put up more than one quiz.
Yeah, that's a great idea!
Thanks "new"....we could try that.
Maybe we should offer to do the Quizes for them? Or suggest some topics for the Quiz.
I would recommend...IFR Chart Reading and IFR approuaches for a start.
Sorry iusedtofly....where did i get new??
Good questions to prep me for test will eventually take--in combined private and instrument program. As an old Air Force Navigator, it is the only way to go. Flying instruments makes one a better pilot, I do believe--has helped me. Missed two, one of which had I really read the question, would not have missed.
Ditto on new questions and questions on approach plates and enroute charts.
The correct answers are: 1) A 2) C 3) C 4) A 5) C . Circle C for all of them and you still get 60%! It is now at least 30 months since this quiz was changed. Fix this,Goyer!
