Pilatus Business Aircraft broke ground on its new North and South American headquarters last week in Jefferson County, Colorado. Officials from Pilatus, Tectonic Management Group, Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport and Jefferson County gathered to celebrate the company’s new center for aircraft completions and support.
Since 1996, Pilatus has completed more than 1,000 PC-12 aircraft at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport and managed North and South American sales and service from leased facilities on airport grounds. The company’s new 118,000-square-foot building on the west side of the airport will consolidate its operations and accommodate employment growth. Pilatus expects to hire about 140 team members when the PC-24 reaches production in 2020.
The new headquarters is scheduled to open in spring 2018.
