Apparently my first post didn't make it. As both a pilot and diver, my congratulations to the team for the save! It is a beautiful aircraft that deserves another life.

Can't believe the owner doesn't know what he owns...I have over 8,000 hrs in the cessna
amphib's and THAT is a Cessna 185 not a 180. You can tell by the Dorsal Fin...

Good show. Nice detail on the work, and explanation on why it takes so long.
Calvin: interesting observation. It does look like the 185. Might be a retrofit? http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/N61686.html has it registered as a 180, as did the guy who painted "180" on the side.
