A tale of success and hardship for Boeing's flagship 787.

While I've heard and read pretty much all the usual hype touted about this aircraft, I never saw any mention of how well (or how poorly) the composite materials would stand up to fire. Does anyone have any data on any difference in resistance to fire of composite materials compared to the more traditional aluminum?

Graphite composite has very good burn characteristics.
