Mac,

You were either being mean spirited or outright untruthful by leaving out the Mitsubishi MU2 from your list. The MU2 will outperform most any King Air 90/100, Cheyenne I , or Conquest I out there with better fuel specifics and cruise speed being at the top of the list. Unfair criticism of the MU2 (some from your quarters) has caused many potential customers of the MU2 to shy away hurting the values of these fine airplane. Survey after survey has shown the MU2 the BEST SUPPORTED aircraft in the field of turboprops - including the new ones! Mitsubishi Heavy Industries continues to produce parts, annual service clinics and proficiency reviews (for free) for pilots of these fine airplanes. Beech and Cessna pile on SIDS and additional cost to the owners. Could the problem be that Mitsubishi doesn't advertise in your magazine and therefore you treat them like second class citizens? Additionally, the new SFAT has proven that the fault of these airplanes lay with the "nut behind the wheel" and not any functional problem of the aircrafts design. IT has the best safety record since the SFAR of any turboprop airplane in the world!

The word is that the MU2 is "editorially dead" with King Air Mac. If true, you bring journalistic shame on Flying Magazine. I for one will skip your articles when I read FlyingMagazine.
