This aircraft has the potential to change the way we travel along the coastal areas of the world. There are so many harbors and marinas that make this mode of travel so practical. I just wish that Dornier built a smaller version that could compete with the likes of the Beavers and C-208 amphibians. Nevertheless it is refreshing to see the family is so committed to the success of the aircraft. A lot of thought has gone into the design process to produce what I see as an aircraft that will be around for many years filling a niche that could be 'revived' with the right aircraft.

Dornier Seastar ... one of, if not THE, finest amphibian flying and afloat! My "dream machine."
