They plan to build five airplanes this year with the goal of completing 30 a year. 1/26/2004 Cessna Citation XLS Cessna's latest Citation, the XLS, is the updated version of its Excel. It has new Pratt& Whitney PW545B engines, which provide 3,991 pounds of thrust apiece, an increase of 4.9 percent over the Excel. It also comes with the Honeywell Primus Epic 1000 Control Display System (CDS) which features three LCDs. 1/26/2004 The Coming Digital Radio Mandate The FAA has begun flight testing a new digital communications system that it calls Nexcom, for “next-generation communications.” The modernized system will eventually require that the entire U.S. GA fleet, from Airbuses to Zlins, be equipped with new digital radios. 1/21/2004 Adam taking deposits for A700 jet Adam Aircraft’s development of the A700 bizjet continues apace.
